A two-hour in-house videotape captured this event was circulated among collectors for years.
This incarnation of Traveling Wilburys consisted of Taj Mahal and the Graffiti Band
(which featured longtime Beatle pal Jesse Ed Davis) sharing a double bill at the Palomino.
By the end of the evening, they had been joined by George Harrison, Bob Dylan and John Fogerty.
As far as the performance goes, it was probably enjoyed more by the men onstage than by the audience.
However, with the right amount of liquor, anything can sound good...
