This disc, aimed at a focus group of kindly elderly grandfathers who still remember such relics as The Beach Boys, tells the story of the creation of one of the band's seminal albums, "Pet Sounds." The album itself was reissued many times, reaching sizes up to four CDs, and even 5.1 BD-Audio... Incredibly cool, especially considering the original was recorded in mono...:wow: The history of "Pet Sounds" in a nutshell: in early 1965, the band went on tour, and Brian Wilson wasn't included. No point in having fun, they say. Stay home and write music. And he did, a whole album of it. By the end of the year, the band returned, and all the musicians immediately went into the studio to record. And they recorded. Well, that's pretty much it. The end.
