"For help!" - a film directed by Richard Lester, was released after the acclaimed film "A Hard Day's Night". But it was not as wildly popular as the first film, although it again featured many songs and jokes. Nevertheless, it enjoyed good popularity, and is now even considered a classic.
The film tells the story of a religious sect that worshiped their goddess Kaili. In order to perform a sacrifice, there must be a sacred ring on the finger of the person being sacrificed. This is what ended up on the finger of the unsuspecting Ringo. The ring is stuck to the finger and cannot be removed. The Beatles are forced to hide from fanatics hunting for Ringo. They turn to Dr. Foote, a mad scientist, for help. When he fails to remove the ring, he decides to also take possession of it for scientific purposes. A girl named Ahme, a traitor to the cult, comes to the aid of the Beatles. Ahme claims that the ring does not stick to the brave, and if Ringo was braver, there would be no problems. She suggests removing the ring from your finger using a small dose of a reducing agent. By mistake, a dose of this drug goes to Paul McCartney, and he becomes a midget. The pursuit of the group continues, the musicians try to contact the police, but they are powerless. The cultists eventually capture Ringo and, after tying him up, threaten to take revenge on the rest of the group. In an attempt to save his friends, Ringo shows courage and removes the ring from his finger. The film ends with a leapfrog, in which the ring constantly changes hands, for whom the hunt immediately begins.
