It all began as a big tribute to Tony Williams, Miles Davis' exceptional drummer, with whom bassist Jack Bruce had collaborated on Lifetime, a supergroup created after the dissolution of the Cream with Eric Clapton in 1969 On Spectrum Road, the leader, of course, is the eternal Jack Bruce. But the guitar is the sensational Vernon Reid, leader of Living Color and a unique musician, with the best technique, mixing programming and guitar. To make matters worse, the battery is Cindy Blackmand that we met in the Lenny Kravitz group. The keyboardist Mediski formalizes the group. Well, the supergroup.
