Originally designed for five instrumentalists, music of the legendary "Mahavishnu Orchestra" was taken by the Frankfurt Radio Bigband on an album to critical acclaim.

"If someone had told me that one day these compositions would be taken over by a big band ... With these recordings, a dream come true! Thank you, thank you with all my heart! ". It is in these terms that John McLaughlin speaks of the Frankfurt Radio Bigband version of the Mahavishnu Orchestra's compositions.
