Discovered in 2023 at the CosmoJazz Festival, and again in 2024 at Jazz à Vienne, Kutu already has a debut album, Guramayle, released at the end of 2022, and has just unveiled a new single, "Lem Lem," a prelude to a new album expected in February 2025 on the Naïve label: a well-deserved upward trajectory for this group brimming with creativity and irresistible on stage, which practices an Ethio-trance style enriched by many other genres depending on the track (jazz, reggae, electro, even hard rock!).
