More than half a century ago, Gilberto Gil has become a veritable icon of Brazilian popular music: a tropicalistic moving figure, which contributes to the founding of the 1960s, a trait d'union between bossa nova and rock, samba and soul, with lyrics written in the 1960s, daily. For more than 80 years, the natives of Salvador de Bahia never seemed to abandon their tours: accompanied by six musicians, in the name of their six fils Bem Gil and João as well as their petite-fille Flor, they offered a scale on the stage of the Philharmonie de Paris. The program is eclectic, revisiting its repertoire in a festive and profoundly emotional atmosphere.
