At just 25 years old, Samara Joy is already one of the greatest voices in jazz. While in France on a world tour promoting the album Portrait, the American showcased her full talent at the Philharmonie de Paris.

Samara Joy was born in New York in 1999 into a family of music lovers. Steeped in gospel, rhythm and blues, and soul, the young woman became involved in music at a young age and discovered jazz in high school. It was the beginning of a wild love story.

In 2019, Samara Joy won the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Two years later, while still in college, the singer released her self-titled debut album. It was the opus Linger Awhile (2022) that propelled her onto the international jazz scene, while Portrait (2024) cemented her status as a vocal jazz prodigy.

In February 2025, Samara Joy won two more Grammys (she already had three): Best Jazz Vocal Album for A Joyful Holiday and Best Jazz Performance for the song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Me." Just a few weeks after this double crown, the American singer performed in the Salle Boulez at the Philharmonie de Paris, transporting us with her warm and captivating voice.
