Sile Jazz concludes the second week by landing in the province of Venice, in Quarto d’Altino, with Crei Ensemble. An ambitious project founded by saxophonist Nicola Fazzini with the aim of developing the relationship between composition, research and improvisation in the field of contemporary improvisation music. A close-knit group of Italian musicians of different generations, united by the curiosity to experiment with new sounds and ideas. The result of a residency carried out at Hybrid Music in Mestre, at the end of 2022, the concert marks the second stage of a path of research and development of the relationship between composition and improvisation through a process of mutual mentorship between musicians with great national and international experience.
