Rarefied Lynchian atmospheres, dark and suspenseful situations: the concert proposed by Marco Cesarini (and his alter ego Henry McLusky) is, literally, a detective investigation. The original proposal of the multi-instrumentalist from Pesaro is based on the concept “Who is Antelope Cobbler?”, inspired by the artist’s vision of the third season of “Twin Peaks” by David Lynch, and uses the language of jazz to give life to a noir sound in which, note after note, he investigates to ferret out the truth, addresses different points of view that transform into melodies, into timbral, rhythmic and harmonic balances.
A jazz work that is appreciated even more if followed through the illustrations created by the artist Aliena Wrobleski (Margherita Baldelli) that take on the role that librettos have in opera music.
