The Nino Rota Project, composed of Matteo Sacilotto, guitar, Nevio Zaninotto, saxophone, Simone Serafini, double bass, and Jacopo Zanette, drums, wants to be a jazz tribute to Nino Rota who wrote the soundtrack for more than 40 films between the 50s and the 70s. You will be able to listen to the jazz arrangements of the music of many films by Federico Fellini (from “Amarcord” to “La Strada”, passing through “I vitelloni” and “Giulietta degli spiriti”), but also of “The Godfather” by Francis Ford Coppola) and “The Leopard” by Luchino Visconti.
