The first live of the VIII edition of Jazz Area Metropolitana is held in the courtyard of Villa Orsini in Scorzè and features the Knobil trio, a sparkling post-bop jazz project in French created by Louise Knobil, double bass player, singer and composer from Lausanne, Switzerland. Influenced by Esperanza Spalding, Charles Mingus and Boris Vian, Knobil uses double bass and voice to share her musical diary between "polyamory, sleep deprivation and recipes with pesto". Joining her on the Venetian stage will be Chloé Marsigny on bass clarinet and Vincent Andreae on drums.
