With New’Garo, Fred Pallem leads a four-star cast at Jazz sous les Pommiers. It took no less to pay tribute to Claude Nougaro, the great poet and musician who passed away in 2004.

The New’Garo project is supported by four festivals that make France swing every summer: Jazz sous les Pommiers, Jazz à Vienne, Les Suds à Arles and Jazz in Marciac – a sort of super band in the style of cultural events, in short.

It is therefore thanks to this high-flying quartet that we now find more than thirty artists under the baton of Fred Pallem. Among them, a most enticing vocal line-up: Marion Rampal, Babx, Ray Lema, Thomas de Pourquery, André Minvielle, Sanseverino, Gabi Hartmann and Jowee Omicil. Enough to immerse us with as much delight as nostalgia in the very special world of Claude Nougaro.

It is at Jazz sous les Pommiers that New’Garo is revealed to the public for the first time. An exceptional date therefore, especially since in Normandy Fred Pallem and his acolytes are receiving an additional distinguished guest: the actor Jacques Gamblin.
