This show promises to be an exciting mix of performers. Cory Henry is one of music's fastest rising stars and this year he is again performing at North Sea Jazz with his band The Funk Apostles. Jacob Collier started out as a child prodigy. He released his debut album last year and on it he plays all the instruments. The two artists are friends and have even toured together. Moreover, they have both played with the Metropole Orkest before: Henry as a member of Snarky Puppy on the Grammy Award-winning album Sylva; Collier as a guest at a concert at London's Royal Albert Hall celebrating the music of his mentor Quincy Jones. Together, the two soloists and the world-famous orchestra conducted by Jules Buckley will give a show in Rotterdam that will never be forgotten.
