Stéphane Belmondo has long been one of France's best-known jazz musicians. The multi-instrumentalist - he plays trumpet, flugelhorn, percussion and accordion - played i.a. with Milton Nascimento, Stéphane Grappelli and Yusuf Lateef, has received numerous awards and has been heard on over 200 recordings to date. Belmondo got to know his great role model Chet Baker personally in the mid-1980s and also made music with him.
