The M&M’s, the sporadic supergroup comprising keyboardist John Medeski, guitarist Papa Mali and the Galactic rhythm section of Stanton Moore and Rob Mercurio, have shared a new track, “Parachute,” which premiered via Relix today.

The new track, which was penned by Mali and recently recorded by the group, features a slow groove and rich background vocals. “We personally love the sentiment and vibe we captured,” The M&M’s tell Relix. “We are so excited to get together not only on the stage but working together as a group in the studio.”

Watch the video for “Parachute” here. The M&M’s will play a late-night show at Tipitina’s in New Orleans (which was recently purchased by the members of Galactic) on April 26 during the first weekend of Jazz Fest.
