This edition of METRÓPOLIS is dedicated to two personalities that travel along two well differentiated musical paths.
First of all the collective B-Tribe directed by the German Claus Zundel. They have managed to create a special sound within ambient music -also called aural music-. Flamenco connotations and melodies with Spanish guitar are fused with electronic bases.
A team of the program traveled to Ibiza to interview Zundel and get to know in the foreground the collaborators and the new measures of what will be the fourth disc of B-Tribe Fatal-Fatal.
The other guest is Ben Sidran, unknown to the general public in Spain. This American pianist, creator of the Go Jazz label, has an extensive work and recognized place in jazz and fusion.
Writer, editor, producer, radio presenter and Doctor of Philosophy, Ben Sidran has a very clear goal through his artistic career: entertaining the public. In love with Spain, he regularly visits our country doing short but "intense" performances. At the end of this year he will publish a new album, the title speaks for itself The Lorca Concert recorded in June 1998 in the Huerta de San Vicente, Granada.
