Son of the famous Martinique pianist José Privat (member of the Malavoi group), Grégory Privat is re-inventor of the biguine jazz, which mixes Caribbean percussions, Caribbean melodies and jazz. In 2015, he joined percussionist Sonny Troupé for an exceptional live performance at UNESCO.
