Dave Holland and his natural groove have been famous for nearly fifty years in the jazz world. A career started as an autodidact and accelerated by Miles Davis - who at the end of the 60's decided to give the young bassist a chance by playing it to replace Ron Carter. Holland rubs shoulders with the living legend for several months and participates in the recording of three of her albums: "Girls of Kilimanjaro", "In a Silent Way" and "Bitches Brew".
