One ofDonny's records that I have Produced. I grabbed some of Tim's (Lefebvre) and Mark's (Guiliana) groove stuff from Casting for Gravity (the song) and built a couple of sections with that. Then I wrote my own chords over the top of that, essentially twisting the harmony of the original bass lines and then I wrote some melodies over those chords. I decided that it might work well as a vocal thing and I wrote the lyrics to the melodies I had written and sang them. Then I spent hours polishing the sounds, mixing, etc.. until I had what you hear now.
