The guitarist and singer Bernard Allison says that his is the "blues of the new generation". The old one is that of his father, the explosive guitarist Luther Allison, discovered by Muddy Waters in the mid-1950s. Bernard's is that of blues with rocker arrests. Allison first filmed with her father, then with singer Koko Taylor and was emancipated artistically 20 years ago.
