Jimmie Lawrence Vaughan (born March 20, 1951 in Dallas, Texas) is an American guitarist and blues singer. It is one of the leading guitarists of the Austin scene from the 70s to the present. His style, clean, elegant and alternating fingerpicking, is influenced by Freddie King, which received personal assistance, Albert King, B. B. King and Johnny "Guitar" Watson.
