Lurrie Bell (born December 13, 1958 in Illinois, Chicago) is an American guitarist and blues singer. His father was the blues prestigiosoarmonicista Carey Bell.
Bell began playing the guitar at age 7 self-taught and his teens was improving his technique playing with legends of the Chicago blues scene, as Eddy Clearwater, Big Walter Horton and Eddie Taylor.
In the mid-70s, he joined the band Koko Taylor, Blues Machine, where he was an active member for four years. At 19, in 1977, he made his recording debut in two registers, first for his father, enHeartaches and Pain, and King of the Jungle, Eddie C. Campbell.
