John Lee Hooker, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991, was honored by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with a concert in his honor entitled "Boogie 50th anniversary."
The sold-out show took place on October 30 at the University of Stanford. The celebrants with fellow artists including John Lee and some of his closest friends, like Charlie Musselwhite, John Hammond, Elvin Bishop, Eddie Kirkland, Johnnie Johnson, Pete Sears and John's daughter Zakiya Hooker.
