Duke Robillard (born with the name Michael John Robillard, on October 4, 1948 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island) is a guitarist and singer of American blues. Versatile guitarist, singer and scholar of the genre of American black music, Duke plays different styles like jazz, swing, blues and all its branches with amazing ease.
While it may interpret and emulate the sound and phrasing of many guitarists of the genre, as he did in his album Guitar Groove-A-Rama (2006), when it comes to interpreting the style of guitarist T-Bone Walker arrives, makes clear which is the most marked effects.
