Magic Slim and The Teardrops right at the Patersdreef (literally: the Monk's Lane) in Tielt (West-Flanders, Belgium), Who could possibly have imagined this 30, 40 or 50 years ago! Magic Slim playing the lane where I once learned my first Latin (the secondary high school was right behind the Franciscan church and convent it leads to, locally called Paterskerk and Patersklooster), a lane which I crossed twice every day walking or biking, even in the weekend when attending the boy scouts (VVKS Scoutsgroep "De Mandel" Tielt). Seems to have become another hot spot for blues fans in the West-Flanders' circuit (see also, for instance, the "Banana Peel" in Ruiselede or "De Steiger" in Menen/Menin).
