Rory Gallagher, born in Ballyshannon in Southern Ireland in March 1948, has been one of the world's most important guitarists since the 1960s and has inspired countless musicians. This documentary by Christian Wagner and Friedrich Weßbecher was made two years after his premature death in 1995. The documentary consists of concert excerpts, interviews and documentary material that was made available to the Rockpalast by friends and relatives of Gallagher.
