Legendary guitarist Preston Shannon has long been recognized as the "King of the Memphis Blues". He himself calls his random music Boogie Soul, a mixture of Otis Redding's styles, Bobby Womack, the Kings. BB, Albert and Freddy, T-Bone Walker and Little Milton. Preston was born in Mississippi. During his performance, he was accompanied by "Harry Fat & the Licks Fuzzy", which added hammond and blazers. Shannon played in a 40+ year career with, among others, Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, Big Mama Thornton and Bill Withers.
