The Lost Broadcasts are a series of Audio and Visual CD/DVD sets featuring performances that have rarely been seen since the original transmission on German television, in some cases more than forty years ago. Some of the artists featured within the series are legendary and these 'lost' performances will be a fine addition to any music fan's collection.

Spooky Tooth grew out of the British band Art who in turn had grown out of the British R’n’B band The VIPs. Adding American keyboard player Gary Wright the band released their debut album It’s All About in 1968 along with their debut single, a cover of The Band’s The Weight. The debut album also had a slowed down version of the John D Loudermilk song Tobacco Road. The following year (1969) saw the band release what is considered to be their most popular album, Spooky Two. The band reportedly sold two million copies of Spooky Two and it remains the band's bestselling album.
