Litfiba is an Italian rock band formed in Florence in the fall of 1980.

Considered one of the most important groups in the history of Italian music, they have sold ten million records over their forty-year career. Key figures in the band, from the very beginning and at various times, were Ghigo Renzulli, Piero Pelù, Gianni Maroccolo, and Antonio Aiazzi.

The sound of their early days, throughout the 1980s, was a personal interpretation of new wave, combining the ethnic charm of Mediterranean sounds with the edginess of dark British atmospheres. In the 1990s, Litfiba initially embraced a Latin rock sound, then moved towards pop rock, achieving widespread commercial success.

In the late 1990s, Pelù left the band to pursue a solo career, while Renzulli continued the Litfiba label with new members. At the end of the 2000s, Renzulli and Pelù reunited, ushering in a phase characterized by a return to rock sounds. In 2022, the group officially retired from the scene,[10] and then announced their resumption of artistic activity in the fall of 2025.

Musicians:

Federico Renzulli, known as "Ghigo," on guitar and vocals (formerly of Cafè Caracas, where Raf played bass)
Sandro Dotta on guitar
Gianni Maroccolo on bass
Antonio Aiazzi on keyboards
Francesco Calamai on drums
