Go Flamingo! is an Italian band formed in Ferrara in 1982.
After submitting three songs to the compilation A White Chance (along with Intelligent Dept. and Plastic Trash), released in 1985, they won the "Indipendenti 1984" competition promoted by the monthly magazine Fare Musica, which allowed them to release their self-titled album in 1986.[1]
Their activity continued over the following decades, but they did not release any new material. After a period of inactivity, they resumed playing live in 2011.[2] Two years later, they submitted a song to the compilation Riding the Crest of the Frozen Wave (Calembour Records).
In February 2015, Flashover (Black Fading Records) was released, a new album featuring nine previously unreleased songs recorded in the studio in the summer of 2014.
