This is from my VHS master of recordings I made on December 9th 1980. I’m just now transferring these to DVD. Most of the tapes have held up well. John Lennon was shot and killed by a madman on December 8th, 1980. Included here is “Good Morning America” from December 9th 1980 7am EST where Murray the K, Sid Bernstein, Don Kirshner, Robert Palmer (Music Critic), Dave Sholin who did the last interview with Lennon and Rex Reed in front of the Dakota are guests & Local News Coverage (Phoenix, AZ). Also there is interviews with Ringo Starr on “Donahue” and “Barbara Walters”, both done in early 1981. I know most everyone is still affected by the history of that day, and here 30 years later it still hurts.
