Peter Tosh is one of the reggae classics, a musician who is second only to Bob Marley in importance and popularity.
He started in the Marley band The Wailers, and from the mid-70s began to perform solo. His first hit 'Legalize It' for several decades became the slogan of fighters for the legalization of cannabis, and the early albums 'Bush Doctor' (1978), 'Mystic' Man (1979) and 'Wanted: Dread or Alive' (1980) on his own label released by Tosh's big fans, the legendary The Rolling Stones.
In 1983, Tosh abandoned the music and went on a trip to Africa in search of shamanic wisdom. He returned in 1987 with the album 'Nuclear War', awarded the Grammy. Soon, Peter Tosh was shot dead by robbers breaking into his house.
