One of the best Timba-modern-Afro-Cuban music DVDs out there. The musician lineup includes All-Star members from some of Cuba's top groups, including Feliciano Arango on bass (fron NG La Banda), famed to be the "father of modern afro-cuban bass". Samuel Formell, current drummer of Cuba's premier group, Los Van Van. Mario "Mayito Rivera" on vocals (one of Los Van Van's lead singers and one of Cuba's most amazing singers). Tirso Duarte, who is a veteran of the various Cuban timba bands and now has gone "solo" as a singer with two amazing albums. I could continue to highlight the backgrounds of the musicians but what's important is this: you're getting a good representation of modern Cuban music.
