Over the course of a career spanning over 25 years, drummer and percussionist Florian Arbenz has built a reputation not only as a skilled musician, but also as a creative collaborator: a mood also evident in the new trio which brings together two fellow musicians whose concept rhythmic, harmonic vision and open-minded playing take the listener on a journey from hard-swing solos and free improvisations to dreamy soundscapes. A vaguely unusual formation of guitar, trumpet and drums, which however gives free rein to the technical and creative abilities of the musicians. Finally, Florian's addition of customized percussion instruments makes listening extremely fascinating.
