This concert of Koko Taylor in 1978 counts on eight standards of blues and a number of own compositions. Some of its existences are "Wang Dang Doodle," "amid like-minded floorshakers" ("Let the Good Times Roll," "Spoonful," "Hey Bartender," and "You Can Have My Husband,")
The band is very in tune with established goals, and the singles are brief and straight to the point. Koko Taylor (September 28, 1928 - June 3, 2009) was a United States Blues singer popularly known as "The Queen of the Blues" for her harsh, powerful voice and her style based on traditional blues. His first name was Cora Walton. She was born in Shelby County, Tennessee, being the daughter of a sharecropper left Memphis to go to Chicago, Illinois in 1952 with her husband, trucker Robert "Pops" Taylor. In the late 1950s he started singing at Chicago blues clubs. It was discovered by Willie Dixon in 1962, which led him to have better performances and his first recording contract. In 1965, Taylor signed with Chess Records, with which he recorded his single "Wang Dang Doodle" (written by Dixon, and a success of Howlin 'Wolf five years before), and in which the harmonica player Little Walter and the guitarist Hound Dog Taylor, 3 became a big hit.
