Sam "Lightnin'" Hopkins (March 15, 1912 - January 30, 19821) was a guitarist and singer of country blues born in Houston, Texas, United States.
Born in Centerville, Texas, within a humble family that was part of a farming community; initially he learned to play the guitar by his brother Joel eight years older than I teach the same handling acoustic guitar.
