Fidler Joseph "Joe" Walsh (Wichita, Kansas, United States, November 20, 1947) is a Rock, Country Rock and Folk Rock guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is known for his mastery on the electric guitar. He has been a member of three successful gangs, the James Gang, Barnstorm, and The Eagles. He has experimented as a solo artist obtaining great success. With the James Gang he wrote hit songs like "Walk Away" and "Funk #49."
Alone he composed his comedic hit "Life's Been Good" and "Rocky Mountain Way", with this song it was one of the first times in which the Talk box (invented by a friend of Joe's, Bob Hulzon, was used to play the song live). With The Eagles, he assisted Don Henley, Glenn Frey and Don Felder on "Hotel California" as lead guitarist.
