Tab Benoit (born November 17, 1967 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States), was an employee of an airline company (actually a flight attendant), who one afternoon at twelve thousand feet, decided that flying was not the thing to do. what he wanted to do in his life and he told his boss that he stopped touching the sky to play the blues; the boss laughed at him... he was wrong, Benoit knew what he wanted and today, many years after that decision, he has become a solid exponent of 21st century blues.
Little Tab, one year for Christmas, was given a book that taught him how to play the guitar, but as soon as he learned the first three notes, he ditched it to learn on his own, he graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School in Houma, Louisiana In May 1985 and two years later, he formed a trio and began playing clubs in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. He began touring other parts of the South and in 1989 he began to travel beyond the United States...he continues to this day.
