Flavio is the first to appear on the scene. This harmonica player is a reference in Brazil, his country of origin. He has created a school where he teaches the best harmonica players in Rio de Janeiro. During his more than 20 years of business he has released 15 albums and has played with artists of the caliber of BB King, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy or Sugar Blue. On stage an expressive guitar, a rhythmic bassist and a "neat" drummer. To start off on the right foot, the first classic theme. The square is half full but longing for blues. His voice is not his main weapon, but it accompanies perfectly with his broken and modulated expression for hours and hours on stage. As the concert progresses, the square fills up. It is one of the few times that we see it so full on a Thursday. The music of good blues attracts people like flies to honey, it surrounds us and traps us without our being able or willing to remedy it.
The concert ends with some sincere words of thanks to the organization, and with a blues to the rhythm of clapping that prevents us from moving our heads. The “encore” for “Walkin' blues” by Robert Johnson, this time with the whole band on stage and with airs like Muddy Waters and dark resonances like Eric Sardinas.
