First visit to the Festival of one of the main foundations of reggae from the 60s, the songwriter of Many Rivers to Cross, You Can Get It If You Really Want and Wonderful World, Beautiful People. He composed the soundtrack and also starred in the film The Harder They Come (1972), that popularized reggae worldwide. He has worked with the biggest names in rock, including The Rolling Stones, Elvis Costello, Sting and Annie Lennox. Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, Cher and New Order, among many others, have sung versions of his songs and he made succesful versions of Cat Stevens’ Wild World and I Can See Clearly Now by Johnny Nash. He won the Grammy in 1985 for Cliff Hanger and was nominated for the same award in 2012 for Rebirth. After more than 50 years (his first hit, Hurricane Hattie, was a success when he was only 14 in 1962) he is still headlining numerous festivals in which he participates.
