Brazilian guitarist, singer and composer Celso Blues Boy, considered the pioneer of the Brazilian blues. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Blues Boy started playing professionally in the 70's alongside the late rocker Raul Seixas and the group Popolar Brasileira Sá & Guarabyra and Luiz Melodia. His artistic name is a tribute to his idol, B.B.King, with whom he played in the decade of the 80's. In addition, he recorded with the also disappeared Cazua and was part of the group of North American James Brown. He was guitarist of the bands Legiao Estrangeira and Aereo Blues, considered the first group of Brazilian blues. In 1995 she was one of the stars of the Montreux festival in Switzerland. She died in 2012 at the age of 56, a victim of throat cancer.
