Larry McCray: Born April 5, 1960 in Magnolia, Arkansas. Son of a harmonist, the second minor of nine brothers, grew up on a farm and learned to play the guitar of his sister, Clara. "She used to play really Low-Down and in a very dirty way," recalls McCray years later. His family moved to Saginaw, Michigan. McCray was influenced by his sister and the three kings (Albert, BB and Freddie King), and in this place began to play along with his brothers carl in low and Steve in the battery.
After completing his secondary work at General Motors, where he meets harmonica player Lazy Lester, who convinces him to play blues.
Larry McCray is an Electric Blues Warrior. His guitar is his weapon and he is able to launch round after round of notes like bullets and the precision of a sniper.
