Moving on the grounds of Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stoney Curtis masterfully leads the voice and guitar to his band, practicing a powerful Blues that sometimes becomes more aggressive (Soul Flower) or approaches the southern Rock of the whole Mouthful of Honey, but always from a blues prism.
We could also connect with others like Robin Trower, Johnny Winter or, of course, the legacy of that adventure that had the most experimental Clapton called Cream. So recognizable and familiar these subjects sound and so directly is how Curtis manages to demonstrate that he is able to continue the work that Jimi and Stevie could not keep alive in the scenarios.
